I recommend booking your session about 4–6 weeks before your baby’s first birthday. This allows time to plan your theme and reserve space on my calendar. Many families choose to schedule their session a few weeks before the birthday so the images are ready to celebrate the occasion.

Where do cake smash sessions take place?

Cake smash sessions take place in my private studio in Orange County, where the environment is clean, comfortable, and designed specifically for baby photography. The studio allows for controlled lighting and a relaxed space where your baby can explore and play safely during the session.

How long does a cake smash session last?

Most cake smash sessions last about 60–90 minutes. We typically begin with simple milestone portraits of your baby before the cake is introduced, and then move into the cake smash portion where all the messy fun happens.

When will I receive my photos?

Editing takes time to ensure the best quality. Most sessions are delivered within 2-3 weeks, while larger events like weddings may take up to 6 weeks. Rush processing may be available upon request.

Do you offer prints or just digital images?

We offer both! You can choose high-resolution digital files, professional prints, albums, and wall art to showcase your memories beautifully.

What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor session?

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can reschedule for another day or move the session to an indoor location. We’ll stay in touch and make the best decision together.
